As the founder of Swifthome, can you briefly explain what the service offers and how it differs from the traditional process of selling real estate?

Swifthome is a solution designed to meet the needs of homeowners by purchasing their property as-is, within just 15 days. When we launched this service a year ago, our goal wasn’t to compete with brokers—with whom we actually maintain very good relationships—nor to replace the traditional sales model, but rather to offer an alternative by buying homes or apartments almost instantly.

Let me quickly recap the traditional sales process. First, a seller needs to contact a real estate agency or put the property on the market themselves. Then, if all goes well, come the viewings and the visits — with all the inconveniences they bring. On average, a listing remains online for several months, which is already a significant waiting period. Once a buyer shows interest, financing becomes the next hurdle: it takes several months to complete the administrative procedures and gather the necessary funds to finalize the purchase. Finally, the sale is completed with the notary’s signature. All in all, the process typically takes six to nine months. Many homeowners simply don’t want or can’t afford to wait that long
